This season is going to break some records in regards to wildlife. I have been from the Eastern Sierras, through Tahoe, lower and upper deserts, Big Bear, Palomar/Julian in the past 4 weeks.
The amount of bear,deer,lion, coyote populations have grown considerably. Big freakin black bears this year. All within 5 hours from orange county as well. THANKFULLY!!!!!
Heading up to the Bridgeport area tonight for more nature scouting and brown trout picture taking. It's too bad my XJ is a pile and can't make 1000 mile trips yet.

If anyone is near the upper owens this weekend....Look for a silver F150 with 3 drunk dudes hanging out, probably naked, armed to the teeth and flyfishing.....Stop by and say hi! We will be having a great rabbit stew(hopefully) Saturday night if you are hungry.
