Will a hub from a 88xj fit on 98xj axle shafts, or do i need to get the 98 hub assembly

A quick search at autozone.com shows that they are two different part numbers... 513107='88, 513084='98. However, other than a $10 difference, I don't know what the physical differences are.

The '88 hub will mate with the '98 shafts, but the offset is different and your calipers will hang up.
There are three different hubs, depending on year. I posted this information a few days ago, but here it is again:
'84 - '89 p/n 53000228
'90 - '99 p/n 53007449AB
'00 - '01 p/n 5016458AA
