I'm always fascinated by how things get their names and how they're universally accepted:
Metal Masher, Chinaman, Devil's Crack - Who comes up with these names and how do they stick for so long? Did someone just roll up one day and say to their group "Hey Fellas! I'm gonna go up this......eerrrrr.......ummmmm.......pickle-lookin thing right here."
