Bah. The people out there aren't in same economy? it sucks for all of us. trust me. but that's a good group on a hard trail. where's that been?

Trail might not have been hard, but we had a group like this last weekend for a camping trip.

I was referring to the hard trail part. It seems like anything like carnage bv (pictured) is tabboo for all but a few, where as a few years ago there was a great group like that.

Different strokes man. Not everybody is into the hard stuff, and even those that are might not be in a situation to afford it anymore.

Troof. Just was looking back at past event in CO and was all jelly over the rigs/runs on the fun stuff.

think the record was 13 rigs from naxja on carnage at once 04 or 05

I feel you man. I'd totally love to go hit up BV Carnage and I've yet to make it down to Penrose despite building my 92 XJ specifically to run them based off what I was reading about it.

I know my rig is on paper a Carnage capable rig, fact is though that for me its not. Its too likely to break or be damaged beyond what I can fix and I can't afford to that happening. A few years ago I would've totally said F* it and gone down there to run the trail. Now, I'd rather wait until I'm comfortable with thoughts of my rig not only completing the trail but of being able to get me back home and wheeling the next weekend.

I would run em... But I think my jeep wouldn't like em very much. One day though... Guaranteed. Now that my motor swap is almost done just gotta finish a front bumper and I'm ready to run Penrose again.

I'd love to run
The hard ones again but just not in the budget for me these days! But I seriously miss that trail and penrose too

Ya. i am so stoked to get on carnage again. i can't wait even tho im gonna have to for a good while lol.

front end is stupid and stuff. The drive home from cofest took an hour longer than it should. every uphill climb resulted in deathwobble

See, you should've left things alone. You had a perfectly good running rig that was plenty capable and you had to get all googly eyed over 1" of tire height.
