I an planing on a painting a hood stripe on my 98 xj to cover a small dent repair( fan picked a nut that was lost a and threw it up and left a nut shaped dent in the hood). What paints are comparable with the stock paint,I don't want a lifting problem.l am not that familiar with modern paints, l used lacquer ,acrylic enamel etc back in the Stone Age. Thanks
