High beam out.. help.

I replaced the headlight with a new bulb, still doesnt work. Is there a seperate fuse for the highbeam?

Could be a switch problem on the column. With a volt meter see if you are getting power to the high beam plug.

If you have a later model XJ, you may want to check the following fuses:

Fuses #3 & #4 in the distribution panel controls the driver's side plug headlight plug (I forget which is hi beam and which is low)

# 5 & #16 from the distribution panel controls the passenger's side plug headlight plug (I forget which is hi beam and which is low)

Is this just one headlight or both? If it's just one, it's got to be a bad connector or damaged wiring. Fuses and the switch would take out both.
