So I built this jeep. Every part on it's new except the motor and trans which just won't quit. I mean literally every part. Had the interior leather done by the Bentley guys. Rewired everything stem to stern. Upgraded the lights, cooling, raised intake mod, Dynamat, spare tire sub, heated seats, Escort Live 9500ix install, bluetooth everything - anyway, I could go on for an hour. I finally ran outta stuff to do so out of boredom I decided to install the FLIR nightvision setup out of a Cadillac. I'm using a pair of see-through video glasses as a monitor while I work out a HUD. Damn Jeep dash is so short.

The lens is bulletproof and replaceable. It'd take an act of god to break it and 5 minutes to fix.

Ha! Thanks. The Apocalypse lights kill anything with a bulb; dome, door, brake, dash, even the glove box - you know, just in case it's dark and you're trying not to attract zombies or preppers low on Jeeps

The steering wheel and clockspring are even new.

And my spare wheel sub. It comes apart with 2 wing nuts so that if I actually need it I can get to it fast.

I went up a tire size safely without modifying anything suspension-wise. Those Duratracs are the greatest thing ever. I put Bilsteins in the front and Monroe load levelers in the rear (still blows my mind when the back has 1000lb of gear in it and the car still sits level).
