UK Proposes All Paychecks Go to the State First (link to CNBC)

The UK's tax collection agency is putting forth a proposal that all employers send employee paychecks to the government, after which the government would deduct what it deems as the appropriate tax and pay the employees by bank transfer.

Perfect! Just give all the money to the government. Some bureaucrat will decide how much you get to have. Also, give them access to your bank account. Then they can clean it out in case they decide you owe more then you got paid this month.

I have ezpass and have had it for about 8-10 or so years, use it to pay tolls and such in NJ, NY, all along 95. Pa gets it really going and I get a letter two weeks ago, they, the administrators of PA EZPASS want access to my account in my bank that I use to keep the $70 balance up to snuff. They can KMA, I'll mail the boxes back in first.
