Has anyone used these sliders?

They aren't XJ specific but I'm going to take some measurements tonight and possibly buy these soon. http://www.trail-gear.com/rocksliders.html

Or is there a better suggestion for the same price range?

After wheeling all day yesterday with my friend in his Toyota on 35's I realized my XJ needs more work

The sliders you posted a link to originally had no backing plates. You can't just weld tube to the "frame" of an XJ and you can't run sliders that don't tie into the pinch seam and expect them to witstand good hits.

I've been impressed with their stuff on the jk's..would recommed it for xj's too. Not sure what they cost though

The link I posted has the gussets and plate for 6 post for $19. I know they are for toyota's. I'm mostly buying it for the steel, I could easily make anything work and this was cheap.

$280 shipped for the superrails doesn't seem bad either. With shipping the ones I posted would be just under $200

The rock hard ones look nice, but that's a lot of money for something that I could make myself pretty easily.
