Hard Clutch

Now I know im not driving a Mercedes Benz, But my xj has 162000 on it and it is a 99 ax15. I got it in may of this year so I dont really know what the clutch should feel like on account that I have never driven another 5 speed xj only ones with automatic. But to the point It feels like im pushing around a cinder block everytime I push the pedal, and yes it has full fluid in the clutch. Im just wondering if this is how it is or if maybe this is a bit rediculous. I have driven a 99 wrangler 5 speed and the clutch was alot easier to push in than mine. Just looking for input on this thanks.

Something is wrong, your Cherokee clutch should feel just like the Wrangler. They are the same hydraulic clutch system. It should be easy to push in.
