Thanks guys.Had a nice mellow day( other than watching the Titans get their asses handed to them by the Steelers ).Went to the rock races yesterday and had a little :cheers: get-together at Led's last night.

Not going to make it.My brother/business partner is a C-130 crew chief in the reserves and he got called to active duty for 13 months--so needless to say,work is pretty hectic.Got to do my job and his job,even weekends are going to be hit-or-miss as far as free time goes(glad I got 22 days worth of camping/wheeling/fishing in this summer).

Jeff, Sounds like the perfect oportunity for you to bring in an "apprentice" to do oil changes, brake lining changes, filling struts, airframe dissasembly/assembly (for inspection), filter replacements and all those "mundane" jobs which can be done under your careful guidance (and oversight as an A&P+I).

Bummer. It'd have been nice to take a trip around the lead King Basin Loop and then hang with those who fly-in. Oh well. Maybe next year.

Did your brother ship out right before Katrina? One of my wife's employee's husbands is on a reserve C130 crew and just shipped out.

How's your back? I'd offer to come out and sweep the floor for ya, but I started work last week.

He ships out in November--doing full time duty at PAFB until then.When he ships out hes going to Qatar and possibly northern Iraq .
The back is healing finally.Went to the spine specialist today a got 5 injections of pain killer and anti-inflammitories :confused1 but it does feel better.Got a 14 yr. old kid that comes in three afternoons/week to sweep,clean,etc. but thanks for the offer :laugh3: .
