Output shaft is cut and drill and tap is started. Jeep is in the drive and the temp is climbing towards 78 degrees.

I was having a good day until the tap snapped off flush inside the output shaft.:gonnablow

Well...that's a show stopper. What's the plan of attack now?

It was only in about a quarter inch and I had output shaft to play with so I cut it short past the tip of the tapper and re-drilled. Now to buy a new tap.
