Gulches ride Labor Day weekend

Anyone wanna go ride that Saturday (the 5th)? I've extended an invite to a few co-workers that want to go, as well as a couple former members that are also down. They're having a Labor Day weekend special ( https://www.facebook.com/events/1620864244858089/ ) 4 days of wheeling for $50 but I'm pretty sure I can only commit (right now) to Saturday.

So far I have the following that are wanting to go:

Aaron (in a JK) & Jason (in a YJ) from my work
Mark (Mark WNC)
Andy (aMechanic)
Glenn (Ghost) says he may be available

Anyone else wanna go?

Since I have notice, I can probably ride out for the day if I don't have to work.

I know the feeling. I just started installing a full set of frame rail stiffeners, and I'm hoping to do rocker replacements and cage to frame tie-ins before going....then as I was leaving the shop last night I saw that my passenger axle end UCA mount is pretty much wasted, so that will have to be addressed too. Couple all this with family time, working full time + a little O/T and the heat.....I'll be lucky to just get the stiffeners and UCA mount on lol

I'll stay at D's Friday night and come in Saturday morning about 10 or so. I'll probably head down to Aiken and stay at my parents house after and maybe go fishing Sunday with D. At least that is the current plan in my head.

Regarding Andy & Mark, afaik they're still in. Last time I spoke with Mark he was getting new tires put on his trailer. I'll text Andy later on and check in with him.

I'll be heading in Saturday AM too. Just making a day trip out of it.

If you ever want to ride DT Tellico then you better skip this Gulches trip and go back there. DT Tellico closes permanently on Sept 8th...

If anyone is down for switching the places & dates I'm down for that. Get in one last DT ride before it shuts down. Hell at least this time I'd know it was the last time I'd see the place as opposed to the '07 Crawl when I stayed at camp the last day.

It's either Gulches or I don't ride. I have to take a day off to get to DT. We have a 2 week min to put in for time off. Totally bummed now.

Okay, since no one else has piped up, we'll stick to the plan; Gulches it is. I talked to Wendy and depending on when/where the Flog gets moved, we're gonna keep our October cabin reservation at Crawford's and just go have a peaceful mountain weekend. It may be the last time we get up to that area, so we're gonna make the best of the bad situation.
