Grease gun

So I have this HF pneumatic grease gun that loses it's prime and I wasted an hour of my time trying to make it work.

What manual or air grease gun do you guys use? I don't care if it is manual or air operated, I just want to be able to pull it out every 6 months and have it work. Thank you!

Lincoln. Have both a Pneumatic and a manual one that I'm pretty sure is the one 83vettes linked. Both work great.

Several Lincolns here, they can be re-built if the grease is getting by the cartridge and into the body....

What donthelegend and iluv83vettes said. Lincoln all the way, I use the manual pistol grip. Lincoln is also the only suction gun I've owned that doesn't piss me off, I can suck ATF or GL-5 out of a bottle with it whereas the ones you buy at the parts store are only good for pushing fluids into a diff or tranny and they don't suck worth a darn.

One thing you should know about the hot rod Lincoln is that the coupler is a little odd, you have to loosen it up to release it off a zerk fitting. Otherwise you'll be trying to pull it off and cussing because you can't. I don't remember seeing that mentioned in the instructions. If you don't like it it screws right off though, you can always replace it. Read the Amazon reviews, pretty much everyone mentions it. I think mine is the 1134 which is what I would have actually recommended, I don't really like lever actions, but that's why they make different stuff right?

Yeah, I heard about the coupler. If I don't like it, I'll swap out my old one. It said the hose was made in Germany. Maybr the coupler is some high tech kraut job thanks again.

Got the gun today, and I am impressed with the quality. Haven't loaded grease yet.

THE COUPLER: there is no way you would know how this works unless N8N_99xj or the reviews on Amazon had explained it. It is two pieces fitted VERY tightly together. No way to know this as it's not in the instructions. It took clamping the coupler in a vice, and using vice grips to break the two pieces loose. I'll see how it actually works on a zerk. Not sure the point, but I guess if you really needed to apply a high pressure of grease, if the coupler wouldn't come off the zerk, that would be a good thing?
