Got a question for the collective.

My current DD is a 96 XJ 2wd 4.0 aw4. I happen to have a spare c 8.25 rear axle in the 3.07 flavor.

My thought is to replace the 3.55 with the 3.07.

This Jeep sees around 60-70 miles a day. Looking for a few more of them mpg`s.

What say you.

You will likely lose mileage even with stock tires.
