Who has played with this? Its a way cool program. I clicked on Moab and you can actually see the rubber marks from tires on the trails. Also now you can tilt it and see terrain in 3-D....
Here is a link...its like a 10Mb download but its worth it.

yea its pretty cool, but you need someplace semi big to get it to work...tried using my hometown but its too small to get anything but fuzz....however ft hood worked perfectly fine

I used it to look some trails up in our mountains here...Totally remote country and it worked fine...Then I tried to look up my inlaws house...who are in a semi large metro area and it was fuzzy. Makes me wonder if the paticular days they took the photos has something to do with it.

mebbe, cuz my best friend who's from chicago introduced me to it, and he can see his folks house and everything just fine

speaking from a military standpoint, that program is kinda scary.....anybody with a mind to snoop on the US military just has to type in the zipcode of the corresponding place they wanna bomb, and get all the intelligence they want

I have been using that program for a couple of weeks. Great program. I just wish I could take it on the road!

I just threw it on NYC and hit the show buildings button....Kind of weird because it shows the big hole where the towers were and all the construction that was going on when they took the picture

ya most pictures are between 2 to 4 years old.as for some fuzz areas .they don't have a detailed picture of the area yet so they fuzz it.in enough time they will have anything you want to look at.the pro version has serveral things the free version doesn't.

Recent pic of my house, can see the YJ that we had parked off the driveway, only know it's the yj because I knew it was there, resolution leaves alot to be desired. The microsoft site showed better resolution 4 years ago... But I think the poor resolution is probably intentional.

I tried that a while ago, tried to find my home, you could almost make out my Lebaron, Shadow, and Mom's Van in the pic too.

You can see people waiting in line at Disney World.
I've also found several airplanes in mid-flight (search around your favorite airport).
GPS coordinates are not always right(they are about 2 miles off for my workplace address).
The roof of the White House is blocked out.
The capital building is blurred, while everything around it is clear.
