Looking to get our panels sand blasted for the wounded warrior buggy. Anyone know of a good place around here to get that done?

Buggy is located in fallbrook, but willing to travel to a place that can do it cheap...8 panels total. I drive to balboa 2 times a weak for casualty care, so even down south is ok.

Shoot if anyone knows a guy, ill even come do
It myself, we just don't have the equipment to do it where the buggy is.

many sand blasting shops closed when the EPA enforced even more strict codes. most of the shops where also powder coating places. last year i talked with a place in san marcos about blasting a buggy chassis for me, but for the life of me i cannot remember the name of the place. but i did find them by looking for powder coat shops. if you are just trying to strip the paint from the panels you can always try chemical stripper like JASCO and such. stuff works great but is messy.

I was quoted $150-$200 for my sand car chassis. that is a lot of tubing to get around and in-between. i would think panels would be a lot easier/quicker to do. though it was a different shop, i would imagine the prices are competitive.

Sweet, yeah we are trying avoid using jesco so we don't have to wet sand.. So sand blasting is where we are at.

Ill give them a call tomorrow! Thanks for the heads up.

Any idea what he'd charge for something like this? 8 panels total.

Sorry, I kind of forgot about this. In regards to what he would charge, if they are flat panels then my guess is like $100. He charged me $20 to sandblast a 55 gal steel drum, both inside and out. So flat panels will be much easier than the inside of a drum so I can't imagine them being a whole lot more.

Let me know if you are still interested.
