Good Body Shop

So I got my wife's Corrolla back today from the body shop to fix the scratch where someone keyed my car and I got it back a full 24 hours ahead of time! I literally turned it in yesterday and they had it ready today at noon. Anyway, in case you need a body shop I recommend:

Experts Only collision II
3680 E. Bijou St 80909
597-9005

Talk to a guy name Sam. Really friendly with excellent customer service. I can't even tell there is new paint, they matched it exactly. It looks great.

That is all

That's awesome. Gotta love finding a good shop where you leave with a great fix and a good feeling about the shop and the quality of work done.

When I had Heep II painted at MAACO a few years back, I ended up having homicidal thoughts toward the store owner/manager over a $5 busted trim piece. I DO NOT take kindly to being called a liar. He refused to call his employee up to discuss how the part got broken. He just couldn't listen to logic - why would I bring them a broken part to paint? Both pieces were painted, but there was no paint on the broken edges...... happened after painting right? I asked him to pay $5 for the part and I'd run up to pull-n-save to get another one for them to paint. He wouldn't do it. When I refused to pay the full price and wanted to deduct the $5 I KNOW I was owed, he drove my XJ back into the shop and refused to let me take it. After more arguing and being called a liar more times than I could count..... I ended up forcing my way past him, and he grabbed my arm. I looked him dead in the eye and told him I'd knock him the fawk out if he didn't let go....... and then I got worried that the guys in the shop would probably hand me my ass...... but no one paid a bit of attention to us. I imagine they were probably sick of his shit too.... I ended up driving my XJ out of the shop as he shouted that he was calling the cops. I waited around for 45 minutes to give my side of the story, but I don't think he actually called. That fawker really pissed me off. I even contemplated busting out the windows of his office one night. (of course, I didn't, but I wanted to) I called MAACO's main office and made a formal complaint.

Cheap? lol.. I am looking into getting a new paint job on my WHOLE jeep.

No, but very good. Definitely not MAACO. The ahole keyed my car from about the hinges of my front driver door to the back of the rear passenger door. Deep to the metal, even causing the paint to chip along the way. Total was $798 but insurace took care of most of it.

Oh, and I have never made a claim on my insurance since I got it seven years ago. I have progressive and they really took care of me as well. All in all, besides the obvious annoyances with the situation, between Sam at the body shop and Michelle with Progressive, I was really happy with the service I received.

And BTW, I really like supporting local small businesses when I can and Experts Only is local here to Colorado.

I had some work done here in the rock and they didn't match the paint worth a crap, so they repainted it and when they pulled the bumper cover broke the retaining clips, then bitched about having to repaint it after I paid $450 for the first paint job (just a bumper cover)
