Going over the axle with tracbar ????

I have the RE1660 trac bar with superflex joint on frame bracket end and poly bushing on axle end. I am wanting to go over the axle though on my trac bar using the ORGS bracket, however, was hoping to be able to reuse my tracbar. I assume that it will need to be shortened in order to do so though. Anybody done this?

I had to shorten mine about three inches

Do you have a pic of the "after"? How about clearance issues, have you had the tracbar hit anything? I am at about 5.5" of lift BTW. Thanks!!
