Up for sale is my extremely clean and well maintained 1998 Jeep Cherokee Classic. It currently has 111k miles and is in excellent shape. Has power locks, windows, mirrors, Pioneer cd player with ipod connection, overhead console. All factory options work properly as they should. Within the last year the jeep has had a complete tuneup with new champion plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor button. In the last month, i replaced the factory oil pressure sensor as well. The jeep is lifted with a 5.5'' Rubicon Express Extreme Duty lift kit with Rubicon Express drop brackets and Rubicon Express monotube shocks. This is an extremely nice, capable lift kit, and is the perfect platform to build an extremely capable off-roader. It also has a Rubicon Express slipyolk eliminator kit and very nice JKS Quicker Disconnect front sway bar disconnects. These are probably the nicest disconnects on the market. They're much stronger and are much easier to use than any of the other types of disconnects I've ever been around. The jeep has 16x8 Mickey Thompson Classic II rims finished in a matte black finish. As for tires it has 265/75r16(32'') BF Goodrich K/O All-Terrain tires. These are probably my favorite off-road tire on the market. They are quiet on the street, but still aggressive enough to have great traction off-road. With the lift this jeep has, it can easily fit a 285/75r16(33'') tire without any issue. My previous set of tires were 33'' mt.'s. I know several guys with this lift who run 35'' tires as well. The jeep also has a Banks header to replace the factory manifold and a high-flow catalytic coverter. The jeep breathes very well, and I have been able to get as high as 22mpg on the interstate at 65mph. I normally average around 20mpg interstate depending on my driving. This has been an absolutely great jeep for me, and I hate to see it go, but I recently purchased another jeep and simply cannot keep up two vehicles right now. With my school schedule, I'm on the interstate 99% of the time and don't get to take this jeep off-road like it's intended to be.
This is an extremely nice jeep. It's probably the cleanest Cherokee you'll find around, especially with the quality of lift and tires it has. I hate to see it go, but It's time to find a new home for it. I'm asking $7,500 OBO.
The first three pictures are of the jeep on 32's. The last pic is with it on 33's to show how well it clears them. Also, that oil spill is NOT from the jeep. I accidentally spilled the oil pan changing the oil in my dad's f250. CALL or TEXT 704-657-7553. email [email protected]
