Free Virtual Engine Calculator Software

If anyone is interested, I came across this one a month ago or so. I've been using it with relative success, although it is nothing compared to programs like Desktop Dyno and others.

Still, if you want a freeware program to do some minor calculations for you, this seems to work out well.

Enjoy...

PS: If you find that this thing makes some heinous or glaring errors, please post up, as I personally would like to know... :D

Looks to me for V8s and sport compacts (IE 4-brangers?). I don't know how much help it would be for us with 4.0L I6 based engines...

Cool anyway!

Edit: Looks like there is a lot of good calculators on there after I downloaded it. I was wrong... Thanks!

You can select the number of cylinders you want to calculate with. It seems to work well when plugging in known data from the 4.0...

Ya, you're right after I was just playing with it seems to work well. Looks like I was wrong, just seems like it from the website... :dunce:

Actually, I thought the exact same thing. I downloaded it anyway to run numbers on my Shadow, but discovered that you could use it for any number of cylinders. Its accurate for my bike too, or at least appears to be from the specs available on it. I think their main software package is designed to be more specific to certain engine configurations...
