i drove by the local junk yard and saw an old green willys wagon. so i stopped in. last i knew, they were closing down. i walked to the office and the door was shattered and KEEP OUT was writen on the window in spray paint. the inside was trashed. the gate was closed but you could walk around it. then i saw just an axle with two old tires on it laying in the corner. it had drums. i instantly thought "ooo maybe its a 44". im still kinda new with this so i cant identify it off hand. so i grabed my phone and snapped a shot. then looked it up online and yeah its a 44. dont know what gears, but its just laying there saying "im free in an abandoned junk yard". should i throw it in the back and bail??????

Keep in mind that to most gearheads...

a decent axle is never garbage...

maybe it's sitting close to the gate waiting for it's owner to pick it up...

maybe it is trash but 5 seconds after you load it into whatever vehicle you have...
