Met up with some SC friends Thursday night and we ran the trail to the third crossing on Friday afternoon. Was really cold, thankfully the water crossings were shallow this time.

Friday night was freezing with the wind and we had a little rain and hail Saturday morning. I left the group at camp and headed out by myself to the commite crossing and Fordyce Lake.

Yes, Phil rolled into camp at 6 A.M. Saturday morning. I guess he had started the trail at 1 A.M.!

Looked like fun. If I hadn't been out the previous weekend, I may have considered it. I take it ya'll saw the infamous F-350???

Do tell!

Jes, looks like fun. We were camped off of Pierce OHV area/Eagle Lakes on Saturday for hippie tom's bachelor party. I slept (more like passed out) on the air mattress w/o a tent. I was friggin cold. Best night sleep that I had in a week.

I like kernals tailgate. Lookin good.

Wow, thats quite a story. Wish I could help, but I dont think my Jeep would make it.

What are they going to do for the clean up? Cut it up and haul it out?

ANyone snap pix of the abandoned F-350?

The Webilt boys are going ot try and get it out of there ASAP. I'm gonna go try and help, working with the DMV to see who owns and insures it so we don't get it trouble for cutting it up and hauling it out.

Check the thread on PBB. Looks like someone talked to the owner and owner said he got his money from the insurance company and company will be extracting the rig. Who knows if this is bs or not. Would be cool to take the $10K bill the insurance company would pay the helo and get that made as a donation to the trail and get a 7.3 out of the deal ;)

What's that supposed to mean? I'm a real good driver.

Make sure to include a picture of the wiring of your lights when submitting your ENGINEERING resume to prospective employers.

is that the squeeze? It was unstacked rather well and we had a good time there :) I got rather jacked up and had my roofbar on the driverside and well Jack made quite a display there also :)
