OK, looks like we are going to try and get the Ford out this weekend. The longer it sits, the more stuff is going to go missing.

Damn, someone turned that Ford over since two weeks ago. It was still sitting right side up a couple of weeks ago, with just the front end missing.

I went by it at 2:30 P.M. last Friday and it was upright, then someone went by it on Saturday and said it was turned over.
WTF is wrong with some people?!

What pisses me off is that would have made a nice low-budget tow rig for someone! Why ruin a perfectly operational vehicle by turning it over?!?!

For those that want to help, we're going in Friday AM to assess the situation and get the rig righted and running. Extraction may have to wait until we can get a front axle next weekend.

I have to agree with Phil. It looked like it was crushed at 130 am saturday morning. I didn't get any pictures of it though.

So, did you guys see anyone else on the trail?
Only one lone Toyota passed by our camp near the third crossing and that was at about 11:30 P.M.

We saw a full size bronco near the begining. and was that toyota a truck with no doors. cause we passed him at around 6am near the end of the trail.

the person likely had a winch, though I guess they could have used a strap and just pulled, though it looks like cable marks on the truck.

so anyone remember if the Yota or Bronco had a winch?
