Saturday October 1st.
They usually have a nice raffle afterwards too, I won four Bilstein shocks last year.

OK, looks like we are going to try and get the Ford out this weekend. The longer it sits, the more stuff is going to go missing.

TENTATIVELY, we are going in Friday morning. Check here for updates. This thread has a ton of details about what I think we need, and how we're going to do it: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?p=4493531

Phil, still planning on setting up your steering Saturday, but it may turn in to Sunday, if you can swing it.

Damn, someone turned that Ford over since two weeks ago. It was still sitting right side up a couple of weeks ago, with just the front end missing.

I went by it at 2:30 P.M. last Friday and it was upright, then someone went by it on Saturday and said it was turned over.
WTF is wrong with some people?!

What pisses me off is that would have made a nice low-budget tow rig for someone! Why ruin a perfectly operational vehicle by turning it over?!?!

For those that want to help, we're going in Friday AM to assess the situation and get the rig righted and running. Extraction may have to wait until we can get a front axle next weekend.

Keep an eye on this thread if you are planning ot show up:

So, did you guys see anyone else on the trail?
Only one lone Toyota passed by our camp near the third crossing and that was at about 11:30 P.M.
