I'm tired of talking about this. Everyone has their own opinion on the subject at this point, I feel I've been lied to about the whole 9/11 thing. Not going to get into a big debate about it but I haven't heard a theory I like, nor one from either side. A 757 crashed, and that's all that's left? Ha. I just don't buy the "it completely disintegrated on impact" stuff. And why were they so quick to pick up what small pieces were laying about? The FAA (and other agencies investigating) would surely want those documented before being gathered and taken away. Just some thoughts...

ACTUALLY, a plane can pretty much disintegrate, so to speak. All a matter of mass and velocity. The mass of the Pentagon, a HUGE dense, hewed stone building has greater mass than that of the titanium/aluminum and styrofoam aircraft and it's velocity combined. There was a LOT of damage to the Pentagon but it pretty much made short work of the plane. It's about ENERGY. The Energy of the static building was close to the energy of the moving aircraft.

Like a car hitting a telephone pole at 100mph. Shears off the pole and inflicts major damage on the vehicle due to the velocity of the car.

Hit a concrete BRIDGE ABUTMENT at 100mph. Car disintegrates into small pieces, almost no damage to concrete. NOW, increase the speed by 4 times and lighten the MASS of the projectile by 200% at least. Bye bye plane.

Cars have a greater relative mass by far than a plane.

Don't know what TV you were watching that day BUT I saw debris all over the place. Including landing gear and engine parts.

The conspiracy folks slay me... you think a governement which changes every 4 years can pull off plans of humongous proportion and cover it all up. Ever been to the DMV, gone to a governement office, seen the people that work there and try to get something as simple as a license renewed. I was in the Navy for 6 years, trust me, no shortage of dumbass in that bunch either!!

Ever seen a crash where the FAA or NHTSA gets involved, man NOTHING gets moved except for live bodies until there has been full documentation, the first thing that gets move are deceased after the live ones are taken care of. The evidence thats been shown by the media has been nothing more than you would see in the local 6 o'clock news about a 5 car pileup caused by a loose farmers cow..
When the feds come in, confiscate all the evidence, threaten people, hide behind 'security', hide and work in back rooms when how many thousands of people saw it happen is a big mistake on govts part, it does nothing to give people warm fuzzies about their agencies who are supposed to be working for them.
Quite frankly I strongly resent some asshat fed/state/local deciding whats good for me to know and what isn't..

I've run across some people in my travels that are SO stupid... it's an embarassment to claim them as Americans. Some people NEED to believe that there's something more going on...it can't just be a bunch of idiots running planes into buildings. A 757 has a 124 ft wingspan...it's doesn't fawking matter how long it is. One of the reasons that was cited for the collapse of the WTC buildings was the tremendous heat that's generated by the burning jet fuel. There's wouldn't be much left of an aircraft that crashed into a building with a decent fuel load...hence the reason there wasn't as much debris as the public would like to have seen.

Documents that are classified have a date attached to them that they'll be de-classified (ex. 50 years from date they're classified). If there are any papers that far back that are still classified, it's probably because no one requested access to them. It's called the freedom of information act..if you give a fawk about something that happened 80+ years ago, request that the records be opened.

In the event of an accident (ex. "screwed the pooch"), the military conducts an accident review board. The proceedings are non-retribution...meaning that anything the participants say cannot be used against them for disciplinary purposes. Look at Wilkpedia for the C-5 that crashed at Dover, DE a couple months back...a good example.

There are some screw-balls in the government...but it's pretty pathetic to make a blanket statement that everyone is only concerned with their jobs and doesn't want to do the right thing.
