But does anyone know if an 1850watt hairdryer will?
Seeing as I don't have 100 bucks or so layin about looking for options besides painting, which leads to another question.

What's involved in pulling the flares and front bumper off a 98XJ? do the fenders have holes in the edges under there?

I ask as my *wonderfull* chiltons doesn't go into that
Thanks
JT

That's why you need an FSM - www.techauthority.com

There are a number of 10mm nuts under the fender that hold it in place; if you pull those off you can start to lift the flares out, and there are six bolts that hold the bumper in place. While I'm sure there are writeups about the 97+ bumper removal, I've got some pics and info about a very similar '96 at http://www.yuccaman.com/jeep/bpi.html
