I know that there have been many people on here that have asked about lowering and I was one of those people. I ended up pulling a leaf out on the rear and cutting 1.5 coils on the front. I know that thats not the best way to go by doung it, but I figured I'll see where it gets me and if it rides like shit then I can buy another set of stock coils and put the leaf back in the rear. I'll get some pics later but it did net a 2.5" front and 2" rear drop.

this better have giant ass nig rims on it. and look awesome. with paint. and 40 inch subwoofers.

or ill be pissed

None of that, sorry. Its just a black 91 on canyons.

HOORAY FOR TURBOS

I'm sure that will come before the end of the summer.

trim, and take it down another inch.

don't TJ coils fit on the xj, but sit a bit lower?

Thats what I have heard, but it was easier to cut these for free then try to get some tj coils and test them out. I have put a little over 60mi on it so far and it rides like stock just a little stiffer, not bouncy at all. Also handles much better!!!

Problem is you've effectively made the front springs more stiff while making the rear softer.

I'd go out and try to find some heavier leaves the same width, correct length, and arch you want and replace some of your leaves with them.

wow, your lower than i am, are you hitting your bumpstops/oil pan? im damn close now.....it looks like your having clearance issues....

more pics, some of the under side too!

my rear is going to spring under with an AAL...my front is dropped almost 2", im running cut f150 springs, rides nice, super stiff, handles like you wouldnt beleive.....i scare everyone i take for a ride, then again i have some other handling related mods :D

MJ rear axle, make a leaf pack, and cut 1 coil off the front. That would look killer. Just my opinion though.
Mj spring perches aren't the right width. You'd have to weld new perches.
