Well, I have posted pictures before but they never really came out good. Then I would see them up here and not be happy with my jeep. LOL Anyways, I finally figured my camera out and wanted to post some pics. Notice the quality difference between the before and new after pics. Oh, and I bought a membership because I really wear this site out.

Before with 2" BB:

After w/3.5" junkyard lift:

Matt,

Kudos on joining. It's worth it. It allows you to vote for the National and SEC BOD's.

You've got a nice XJ. The stance is just right.

I think I am going to look inot some 31 or 32's today. I know I can get by with what I have, but I jsut want something a bit bigger. Also, since my tires are fairly new I should be able to get a decent amount for them on craigslist.

What brand tire are you leaning towards? AT or mud?

I'm having a tough time with it. I really want mud, but I drive about 200-300 miles a week on the road. So I know its not the best choice, but I really want a more aggressive tire. I might look at the pro comp extreme AT. Still an AT but looks a little more aggressive.

I don't know if this will work for you but you might keep the 30" tires for the general commuting and mileage. Then you could pick up a set of 31"-32" for trail use and weekend puttering. That is my plan as my '88 is a DD and soon to be weekend wheeler. This way I can get mud tires for my second set. That might give you the best of both worlds. Food for thought.

I'll have to look into that. You can tell by where I cut in the rear that I was trying to avoid cutting through those welds and breaking that seam. I actually am pretty happy with it right now. I just need to clean it up a bit.

beat them back and you have. .
but go on the inside and put some caulk or rtv or something like that.

The only thing that is killing me about the advice to roll the fenders, is that if you guys paid attention, you would see that I already cut them up to the pinch welds. Therefore rolling is no longer an option.

unless you cut through the seam, you can slice between the welds and fold it up... got any closer pictures of your fender? kind of hard to see...
