Blues
Bluegrass
Classical

I like a wide variety from Frank Siatra to varioues kinds of country to old rock to jazz to ryhtem and blues. So I didn't vote because I don't fit into any one catagory.

Well they only give you 6 options, you tell me what cat. you want and i'll redo it

I don';t think that there is any way for you to do it as a poll... an open discussion would be more like it.

If poll is what you're looking for, you'd have to get better categories: classical, folk (that encompasses country kind of) rock, international, and so on (that's just some examples)....

on the other hand in my opinion there is about dozen different subcategories in Rock which get misclassified often. Look at Classical ROck for example. Ussually into that you have everything bunched from the Monkees to Led Zep, ACDC, Pink Floyd, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and more.... tell me, how can the Monkees and Jimi exist in the same category???? Even Metal has more then 1 category in reality, although generalizing might place it in the Rock category which would mean that you would place the Monkees next to Megadeth (interesting combination, don';t you think? :D)

Anyways, if you're interested in what people listen to, I suggest you go after a thread style response as a poll will give you no info whatsoever.....

I can tell you how the Monkees and Jimi can coexist in classic rock. Jimi OPENED for the Monkees on several occasions in 1967. Michael Nesmith of the Monkees was not a sham like the rest of the Monkees. He wrote and produced songs for many rock, folk and country artists throughout the 60's and through till today. He is sort of a lesser known Brian Wilson. Plus his mom invented White Out.

Fat Melinda rocks.

any thing with a guitar. :guitar: from classical to country to classic rock to metal and anythink in the middle.

I likez da hip hop. Dat good shiznit. Cruzin' in my escalade with my homies, a forty, my spinnerz, is blinng bling.

*shudder*

If it's rock, I'm into it. That includes classic, new, metal, and "alternative," even though I HATE that label. If it's rap, well, most cases are that I don't like it. If it's country, don't like it (you can blame my mother for that...) If it's classical it's good when I'm in the mood.

What's "Alternative"? Is that where New Age stuff like Enya goes, or is it something else?

That's main stream rock...kinda funny how it's the main stream stuff, it's not an alternative!

it kind of depends who you talk to.... some classify to alternative bands like Creed or Stone TEmple Pilots, some classify some harder almost metal stuff.... I think personally that this particular category is somewhat unclassified
