Been looking and drooling over this one, Pioneer tells me it won't be available here till mid 2006 sometime. Question I have, is there a difference between US and British radios ? Any other issues I might run into ?
Pioneer indash AM/FM/CD bluetooth radio

Seems like they use a 24 volt system, right?

I haven't looked in several years to see if things have changed, but Europe used to use slightly different frequencies for FM radio than the US. There stations were on 99.8 Mhz instead of 99.9 Mhz. If the FM tuner does not tune/scan in 100 KHz increments, your tuner will always 100 KHz off frequency and will sound slightly distorted.

Actually I believe it's the AM that are offset and the radio is usually switchable between the two modes anyways. Dowloading the manual and reading it might be a good idea ;)

I like the screw up in AM frequencies

531 - 1.602 kHz

Only a factor of 1000 low.

Re: European car radios [british anyway] bluetooth

I just found a current production bluetooth am/fm/cd car stereo, made by jensen. Ha bluetooth built in as well as a microphone. Model number is MP8610BT, around $249, they also make a few with USB ports so I guess you could stick in a usb memory stick....Jensen is owned by audiovox btw.
