El Dorado National Forest

Just saw this in the paper. The 90 day appeal period should be coming soon and effected trails will be closed starting 2009. Trails will also be closed during winter months now as the article points out.

I can't find anything as to when and where there will be a meeting for appeals. Appeals should be met at the district or other offices for El Dorado Forest for general concerns.

By 2100, the number of Americans is expected to double, and the number of visits to the National Forests is likely to more than double.

Now that is some serious looking forward.
