I want to remove my EGR on my 90'. It checks o.k. but its possible that its causing my cold miss/stumble and since we do not have emission inspections in S.W. VA I just want to take it out.
I am going to make a block off plate for the valve and plug the egr vacuum circuit at the manifold.
So with that said is there any reason to remove the pipe and then have to come up with a plug on the exhaust manifold?
I would like to keep it so that if I have to put everything back on it will be a simple matter of re-bolting and hooking up lines.
Are there any drive-ability issues other than a slight loss in gas mileage that I may have to deal with?
My Jeep runs lean at this time according to my 02 readings.
