Got to www.gatorlandoffroad.com this club president works on Eglin. We go wheelin about every other weekend. The Eglin Range is one of the biggest of its kind. about 10 miles from the base is crestview, there are many washouts and claypits there. drop a line when you get into town, if anything ill take you around the area.

I used to live in Destin. There is a club in N.W. Fla. Do a Google search, North West Fla Jeepers, or something like that.

I lived in Destin for a year and the only jeeps I saw were Grands taking kids to the soccer fields.

Hey 89MINIJEEP, thanks for the response. my daugter is married to a lifer. (10 years, so far, at Eglin) I was there recently, I seen a nice XJ on base, looked a bit like yours, but it had a roof rack and full spare on top. He had quite a few lights. The XJ looked like it was less SHOW and more GO. I may just take you up on it. If your lookin for some "cooler" air, come on up to Chicago. You can check out the club I belong to at ps4wd.com.
