Amazing view and the hardest trail I've ever seen. I think running the con in reverse might be easier. Tore my steering box off the frame, sheared 1 bolt and stripped the box around the other 2. Fixed that and kept going. Broke my rear driveshaft. Winched/towe/drove front wheel drive jeep half way up Thompson hill before we gave up. Camped at the top of Thompson hill and came down in the morning to limp her out. Broke a front shaft, now 1 wheel drive. And finally snapped the sector shaft off the steering box. Jeep is still up there, going back Friday after work. I have a spare steering box, but need a rear driveshaft. Unfortunately I have a rubicon express h&t and need a shaft with their flange yoke. No time to order 1. Of course I will pay if anybody has a spare laying around? I comute to Santa Clara daily, and will drive just about anywhere to pick it up. Also need a long side axle shaft for a 70's ford full width 44.
