i work at a place we put polyurethane tread on cast iron wheels.

like handtrucks and such. anything from a 2 inch wheel up to a 20 inch cast iron wheel.

well with all this poly floating around i can sometimes make some little side projects for myself.

here's what i've done so far.

can't find my photos for them but i made a set of soft poly lower control arm bushings for the after market tube style.

makes it flex easier and ride softer.

these are upper shock bushings. mine were shot. made a mold from the best one i had left. made some from soft poly and most are of 95A which is a little softer than plastic.

I also decided to try my hand at some sway bar bushings.

the black and the white are made of hard poly 70D and the colors are of the 95A
and then a picture of the empty mold of course.

i have a set of the hard poly bushings on my jeep right now and it is so far from a stock handling jeep its amazing.
i get the soft squishy flexy ride i've tried so hard to get and now when i hook up my sway bar again it handles like a car.

Nice job. I do some polyurethane casting myself and was planning on doing some upper front shock bushings since the ones I get last about 2 hard trails and they are shot. I would be willing to buy a couple of sets from you if you want to recoup some of your costs. I can send paypal.

me too but alas...there is no orange or yellow.

i could make yellow if i just cooked the clear for about a month in the oven :D

i could possibly run off some more shock bushings. and maybe some more sway bar bushings.

what are they worth to everyone?
