Does anyone have a 110v MIG I can borrow?

I want to bob the bed on my MJ while I'm home for Christmas break (dec18-jan19). My ReadyWelder does a great job on the thick stuff, but doesn't have the adjustability I need for sheet-metal. I also don't have access to 220v. So does anyone have a little 110v wirefeed that I can borrow for a few days? I will of course pay for all consumables. I'm planning on using .23 wire also. I'm in the Auburn/Grass Valley area, but making a trip to Roseville/Sacramento area is no problem.

thanks

Brett, if you throw down for some consumables, you can do you junk at my house. You can use my plasma too.

Expect me to put you to work on some of my projects whilst you are hear. Lemme know when you will be home. My schedule is getting crazy with projects etc and getting our house for sale by 2/1

great Sean! do you have any .023 wire? If not I can just pick up a small spool and the tips. And pitch in some money for CO2, electricit, etc. I don't think I'll use the plasma to cut the bed though... I've done a lot of reading on Toyota bob-jobs and an angle grinder or circular saw seems to be the best way to get a straight cut. I'll probably make my cuts and prep them for welding at my house, then tape or strap the back of the bed on to drive down there to just do the welds. No problem on helping with other stuff, I'd be glad to.

I'll give you a call when the time gets closer, I'll be home Dec 18- Jan 19.

one other thing Sean; do you have any desire to drill/tap you ps box for hydro assist?

I have my ram, fitting, and lines all ready to go and some good writeups on drilling/tapping the box. It doesn't look very hard at all. We could just plug yours if you didn't want to do the whole thing right away. I also have an extra box (bent input shaft) to "practice" on :D

I do want to do this ultimately, but I don't have the time/$ right now.

it won't cost more than the few dollars for plugs to plug it until you do have the time/$. But hey, whatever you decide, just thought I'd offer as it would probably be easier to do 2 together.

so do you have any .023 wire?

I think I have a roll that came with the welder.

All of my projects started off with "won't cost more than the few dollars for plugs" and progressed from there once that sonufabitch Murphy shows up. How do you think I ended up with COs????
