distributor hold down bracket??

I recently snaped the wings on my distributor, question is there another bracket that goes ontop of those wings like a standard distributor?

On my 89 there is indeed another bracket that goes over the distributors "wings". Its like a collar, I think its just called a clamp.

Not to hijack a thread but I took the distributor out and now I can't remember how the bracket goes down. Which side is up? The one with a little lip up, or down?
I thought it was lip down but I need someone to confirm, please.

The lip is down. That way it applies the force out at the opposite end of the bracket
