My local 4x4 club The Bakersfield Trailblazers is hosting a dinner and raffle Saturday Oct 13th to raise funds for The Stewards of the Sequoias. They are working hard to keep our public lands open, so we are trying to help them out. Dinner is at 6:30 at the Norris Veterans' hall in Bakersfield with a Raffle to follow.

Raffle Items Off the top of my head:
A set (5) 35x12.50x17 BFG KM2 Donated by Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep
A Smitty Built Power Tank and a Couple hundred Dollars in Gift cards Donated by 4 Wheel Parts.
Air compressor, diff cover, hour louvers, utility winch, Magic Mountain Tix, K.O.H DVD's (20), Tow Straps, Coupons, Ice Chests, More 4 wheel parts gift cards, and a lot more!

On Oct 14th we will be running all of the local trails- Miller/Lockwood, Sherman, Freeway Ridge & Last Chance Cyn.

If you have no plans this weekend, come support your public lands and hang out for a good cause!

Stewards of the Sequoia is doing such a great job that we decided to change from doing our annual fundraising event in Calico to doing it in town so more people can be involved and we can have a bigger raffle. Should be a fun evening if you're close enough to join us.

Cool! how much are the tickets for the raffle and dinner? Unfortunately not gonna be able to make the run since i still have a couple off mechanical issues from the swamp lake run

How did it turn out?

It was a hit! We had about 250 people and sold Thousands in Raffle tickets. Marlin Czajkowski won the set of 35" KM2's.
