Diff Torque Specs

Does any one know what the diff covers should be torqued down to.

Untill they don't leak.........30 ft. lbs

Also, some RTVs will suggest that you tighten them finger/hand tight (or a specced, very low torque), wait for the RTV to cure a bit, then tighten them fully.

30-35 ftlbs and use the proper torque sequence to reduce leakage. Let the RTV cure as stated above before tightening fully.
