dash swap

i would like to know if i can take the dash out of a 99 xj and put it into a 93 xj. not going to use the controls or the guages from the 99. just need to know if this is posable. just to update the interior the 99 is totaled.

The dash itself will fit but the gauge cluster, controls, wiring is all completely different. You would have to swap all the harnesses for the interior and engine side over as well.

If I remember right, the dash will physically fit but you need to drill a couple of holes for the screws up by the windshield as the locations changed.

thank you everyone! also im not going to use the newer gauge cluster or controls going to make the older ones fit with some new brackets
