dash clicking

i have searched will no good answers
I just bought a 88 4dr 4wd wagoneer and there is a clicking comung from around the dash and i cant figue it out please help:dunno:

You need to isolate it.

Turn off the fan - does it stop?

Left-Middle-Right side?

Do you only hear it when driving, or when stopped, or both?

Could it be your keys hitting the steering column?

as stupid as it sounds the keys was the first thing i check
it seems to make the sound only while in gear if i am in park i do not here it running or not but if i am sitting still and in gear it clicks

check some of your relays under the dash mine was clicking and it turned out to be the security system relay.
