I was out on lunch today, and pulled up behind a late 80's 3/4 or one ton SRW chevy/gmc pickup and noticed that the rear axle didn't look like a typical 14 bolt. It looked more like a Dana 60, plus it looked to be a semi-float and 8 bolt lug pattern, no outer full floater hubs. Has anybody seen or heard of this before? Or am I just dreaming:rolleyes:

It was probably a LD 3/4 ton and the axle was the semifloating GM 14 bolt; or GM 9.5". Good axle.
Very similar to a semi float D60 in strength. Same size ring gear.
33 spline (1.40" dia.), c-clip axles. Single spanner carrier pre-load and backlash adjustment. Made in both 6 and 8 lug designs.
