Was going to install a solid axle in my '89 Full Size Bronco, but ended up getting rid of it and buying (WooT!) my now current XJ!
Free, you pick it up, no shipping.... Im in Roanoke VA, you NC guys should think about this. Ill help you load it. Dont need it, wife is pi$$ed its still in the driveway, its gotta go. I have over $400 invested in it just getting it home. Heres your chance for a free score!!
Free: Dana 44 for leaf spring setup off 1978 Ford F-150 Supercab 3:55 ratio
Its compleate hub to hub, but you will need to replace all seals, bearings, rotors, etc.. I think the calipers can be rebuilt. Keep in mind, it was in the weather before I got it, and is still exposed to the elements. I cant post pix, but if anyone wants to see it... lemme know and Ill send by e-mail links to pictures.
Good luck, happy bidding! (HAHA!)
