D44 aussie locker brand new!

Works with both carriers, right? (Doesn't matter if you have "high" or "low" gears?)

correct. so long as it's NOT trac-lok.

I honestly don't see why it won;t work in the trac-lok, but the book says it won't. and I believe the book :D

open on left, trac-lok on right.

cover must be removed to properly identify.

No problem.. I'll just put on my X-Ray glasses..!! Were there specific XJ models which offered this as an option, or standard equipment..?

run your vin @ the dealership for a build sheet. it should say trac-lok or not.

the easiest way is to just pull the cover.

if the trac-lok is worn, it'll act just like an open diff, so the jack one wheel up in neutral and try to spin it test isn't infallable.

Check out the review done by one of the guys @ Pirate4x4.com. Very positive results, at a great price.

Why are you selling the locker? What is your opinion of this design and preformance?

I'm sellin the locker because:

1. I can't really afford to keep it because...
2. I screwed up my D44 on my last outing.
3. trashed a tire to the point that it won't pass inspection, which is due in a few days.

It is similar in design to the lockright, and having recently ridden in a lockright equipped XJ, that's what made my decision.
