I just went through the trouble to replace my front axle u-joints, and discovered that most of the noise I was hearing was from the bearing on the right side. (had a little brakes-rubbing-for-30-miles mishap, toasted u-joints and obviously bearings) The bearings are obviously non-packable, and my haynes manual tells me that I'm screwed(slightly different wording).
So is the entire hub/bearing assembly available to replace as a whole? or do I need presses and whatnot to dissasemble and replace just the bearings?
if the whole assembly is available to buy, preferably with a core-deposit, that would be cool, but otherwise I might have to take it to a *gasp* repair shop!
