I recently decided to cut out my junk rockers in favor of welding in some armor, for extra ground clearance so my custom made rock rails are for sale.
These are made of 2X4 tube for the rails, with 3 legs made of 2X2 that mount to the side of the unibody frame rail - two bolts per leg. The entire unit is then anchored to the pinch seam using a 1X1 that fits against the outside of the pinch seam. This is then secured using 6 bolts per side.
The rails measure about 60" long and have 45 degree angles front and rear. These were made for rigs that run large tires and have had the wheel wells opened up. The 2X4 tubes stick out about 3" from the body and work well as a step, but not too far out.
The 2X4 tube has a hole drilled and tapped to accept a brass fitting for your on-board-air supply line. (Meaning that the line is to fill the tank, not to connect an external hose to.) The holes are located toward the front of the rails out of harms way.
These things are super stout and a bit on the heavy side, but served me well.
They're a bit scraped up, but hit 'em with a sander and paint, they'll look brand new.
