COLORADO BREWERIES ???

I've lived in Colorado for several years but spent most of the time deployed. So haven't experienced all I should've. Of the few I've tried Hatch Cover's (Colo spgs) Beehive Wheat is delish. Side note, although not a microbrewery, but brewed nonetheless in Colorado, Blue Moon is my go to on the weekends.
My wife swears by Blue Star in Colo Spgs.

Tommy Knocker's in Idaho Springs. I live the food, the atmosphere, and they're in close proximity to a lot of trails I enjoy.

Favorite local beer = O'Dell's 90 Shilling.

Current favorite local brewery = Pike's Peak Brewing Co. in Monument.

I work for a company that services the largest brewer in Golden. I'm loyal to my paycheck. :)

Nothing wrong with that, Batch 19 is surrprisingly good. They also make the Blue Moon I love to drink.

I'll admit that I'm a fan of the Colorado Native as well, from said unnamed Golden brewer. And the Banquet is my day-to-day camping beer.

Lots of great breweries in CO, thats for sure. New Belgium is another favorite of mine, although they have unfortunately shelved my favorite beer. Mothership Wit is no more.

Left hand's milk stout is so good.

indeed -- the "nitro" version is even better. LH in general makes some pretty awesome beer -- on a hot summer day their ginger infused beer is awesome.

Deb & I got stuck in Pagosa Springs a couple of years ago over night. The beer at Pagosa Springs Brewing is good, their Athenian pizza is awesome.

Might want to rethink supporting New Begium.

Sadly I enjoyed their beers too.

I'm about to actually go and do some brewery hopping here in a few (bday is on Monday)...

Plans are to hit up:

Odell's
Funkwerks
Black Bottle
Fort Collins Brewery
Equinox

And possibly:

Budweiser (its free)
Pateros Creek

I work for Greenbriar, we inspect the inbound cars before they are loaded. If a car is not fit to load, we send it to a repair track on the property. http://www.gbrx.com/Repair_Services.php?expandable=0

When I started this job:
If we wanted a chunk of scrap, we were welcome to it.
We could bring in our personal projects and use company equipment on our personal time.
If an inbound car had leftover/damaged freight from it's last stop, we were allowed to take it home.

Those days are gone. :(

There is another brewery in Golden. I'll have to bring Dutch a sampler when I cart my axle up to Firestone. http://www.gcbrewery.com/

Look good, just no IPA's please. There are only 2 IPA's I've ever enjoyed. #1 is Tommy Knocker's Hop Strike, and #2 was by Solvang Brewing in Solvang, CA. It was another dark IPA that they were serving while I was there. I just checked their website and its apparently no longer offered.

Try O'Dells seasonal Mountain Standard Double-Black IPA... It may be the best beer I've ever had.
