color match or black sliders?

Hey all,
Now that we're starting to thaw a little here in Colorado, I've cleaned up the XJ. I've been putting off dealing with the surface rust on my sliders but need to get them looking better.

My question is:
Should I keep 'em black, or colormatch to the body like I did with the front bumper?

For that matter, what about the fender flares? Repaint gloss black, or body match? Keep in mind this is my daily driver, I'm not a young person, and park next to mostly nice new cars at work (in other words, mine looks like a red-headed step child).

It's not worth investing anymore than a can of black spray paint on sliders if you're using them as they're intended to be used.

I like flat or satin black for easy touch up.

Like was said before. Just keep it all black. That way its easy to touch them up and keeps it all looking good. Color match sliders and stuff looks clean, but just not worth the money or headach of always worrying about scratching them then getting them repainted after you use them a little.

Black, I can't keep any paint on my sliders, it gets scraped off.

I say black. Though my drivers side is so polished, it looks chrome. All of my metal is flat black, easy for touch-up.

Body match it so i can see how it looks !

I use spray cans of body matched and cans of satin black for my rig.
Once its painted you dont go through that much in touchup so the body matched cans last a long time even if they are kinda spendy.
At least i dont but i dont mind not touching it up every time it gets scratched and only find the time to wheel like a dozen times a year at best.

I.m.o. with your black body moulding i would do satin black fenders and body match the rockers.

Mine is the same color with matched body moulding and bumpers with black rockers. I also have the same front bumper but with pre runner bars and warn 8274 foot forward mount.

My rockers look good black i.m.o. But i have considered body matching them.
When i get a roof rack it will likely match whatever the rockers are.

I would like to do tube fenders w quarter guards and tail light boxes they would also be body matched.

And a hybrid cage body matched outside and black inside .

And finally if you want to get picky you have the corner markers and led tail lights , Black or silver ?
Apparently no one makes a silver 3rd tail light but if you do blacked out you can spray tint the 3rd b.l.
I managed to find an orvis rear visor with the led third brake light for mine .

Really none of these things really matter and are personal taste .
Most jeepers wouldn't care and would go with most functional wich is why there are so many rattle can black bumpers , wich looks a bit tougher i.m.o.

I have my beater 85 xj woody that idc what it looks like.
And my main Rig that I DD and am going for a clean look.

I'm a fan of color matched bumps, but decided to paint my sliders black instead. I like the subtle contrast.

i would say black it flows with the jeep unless you match all the black on your jeep
