Chrysler 300 cylinder 5 deactivated?

trouble codes
P3433 Cylinder 5 Deactivation/Intake Valve Ctrl Circ/Open
C1239–EMISSIONS ROLLS TEST ACTIVE

P3433 I have no clue what P3433 means exactly or what would cause it. I'm assuming it's what is throwing me into open loop (c1239?)
I've searched online with no luck and asked on a chry 300 forum and haven't gotten a response yet.
I know some of you guys know everything so how should I trouble shoot this? Thanks!

is it a 2.7 or a 3.5?

I actually feel a little ashamed for not knowing. My excuse is that it's my wife's and not nearly as sexy as my other cars.

Anyway I just checked it's a 2.7
