How come a Christian militia group in Michigan gets rounded up and is not discussed here? Not one peep.

Group of guys makes militia. Comes up with idiot name Hutaree and gives each guy equally tarded alias. Militia practices war games in the woods, makes FBI nervous. After checking up on them, plans are allegedly in place to kill a cop and then bomb his funeral.

2nd link is to military.com showing a segement of the Hannity Show giving the Christian Action Network some time to show a video on Islamic militias training here in the US. I searched and could not find a posting here on about the Islamic militias, but am pretty sure it was discussed within the last two months.

I suspect the FBI and ATF are watching these groups very carefully. Technically there is nothing wrong with training and indoctrinating people, so they can't be touched. That is until they step over the line into crime or actual evidence of sedition. More US based para-military groups have fallen that way.

I don't know what to say/think about this "christian" militia. Not much in the way of facts so far. Seems they had some half-baked plot to kill a LEO, (as if that wouldn't draw a crowd) then "ambush" his funeral.

Being nut-ball crazy, planning for end-of-days/2012/Armageddon/whatever or building the armed camp to "keep the Guvment out uf our business" is one thing. Commit murder (from ambush?) to start a war,... Apparently with the intention of losing.


I can't even trace the thought process that went into that,...

Yea, when I first heard it I was kinda thrown off.

I understand getting prepared incase things start to kick off, but killing innocent cops/people and doing it in the name of fighting the anti-christ...

I've always been interested in how the LEO find out about these people. If they were serious about doing these things, why would they tell anyone?

That's exactly how they got these guys. Make enough noise on the web, and you get noticed.

At one time, the FBI had agents or informants in almost every militia group in the US. They wasted a LOT of time, effort, and money finding out that the legitimate militia groups are about as likely to break the law as grandma's knitting circle.

It is amazing though, how many people think you can keep a secret by posting it on the web. The stories that really crack me up are the perennial "hired a FBI agent as a hit man".

This group got caught because they reached out to another militia group for recruits.......who then reported them to the authorities.

Not all militia are "alleged" cop-killing, nut-jobs.

On a side note, as much as the Marxists in Washigton are attempting to associate the militia type with "whack-jobs", tea-partiers, Republican right wing zealots, etc....... the only guy in this apprehended milita with any political affiliation was a registered DEMOCRAT.
